Another setback Tuff Shed advised me that they couldn’t guarantee the seal on the old farmhouse windows I wanted installed because they weren’t pre-hung with the proper casing. Unfortunately, they were right. I still have a leaky window and as a result, I have to build the shed roof that I wasn’t planning on installing until next spring. A nice warm weekend to make progress inside On Saturday and Sunday I worked to install the insulation in the roof. It was a far more difficult, time consuming and tiring job than I anticipated. I lost count of the times I went up and down the ladder, in and out of the shed and cut the 2” styrofoam insulation to fit. I think I sweated more in two days than I had in a long time. Assistant manager George arrives George came by last Monday to fix 5he egregious errors made by the team that was there to ‘complete’ the project a few days prior. He removed the door and front window and reinstalled them properly. He replaced the support under the door threshold and added a band of trim around the bottom of the shed. Not a very good week There was a week of delays and problems. The subcontractors showed up a week ago Saturday and supposedly completed the build. Later that day we had a storm and the shed leaked in three places!
