A beautiful day
A good day to get your hands dirty
The shed company wasn’t able to complete it on Friday, so I have to wait for Monday to have it buttoned up. I decided that I would do some planting this weekend instead! The other day I transplanted a beautiful Norwegian pine that was a gift from my friend Denise Donlon. Since it would ultimately grow as large as my backyard, we decided that I would care for it for the next two years and then she’ll take it up north and plant it. Great compromise!
Today I decided it was a good day to get my hands dirty. I’ve planted the two widow boxes for the front of the house as well as two of the four hanging baskets on the porch. Taking some time out of the sun to post here and then I have to get back to it. Once the shed is complete, I’ll do some more planting.
