Farmhouse windows

Love these windows

A few years back I purchased a pair of old farmhouse windows. My original plan was to hang them in the bedroom as a headboard. When I decided to build a she shed, I thought they would make a perfect front window. I got an extremely late start this spring in stripping a hundred years of paint off of them.

Time was running out

I stripped Each of the windows twice and there were still a couple of paint layers left. Since I only had a couple of days left to get them to the shed builder, I opted to use a metal scraper to remove even more paint. Although they are far from perfect, they are smooth and ready for paint. The windows will require painting after the shed has been built, but at least I got them to the builder on time to have them incorporated.
