After a week of being delayed, the insulation job is done.

Completion of the insulation installation was delayed due to family matters. I was busy clearing out my mom and dad’s house so it could be signed back to the mortgage company. They had a reverse mortgage and the house is about worth what was owed on it. The easiest thing to do was to sign it over to the mortgage company. That meant removing absolutely everything that was left in the house out! It was a back breaking, long and sometimes emotional experience. Leaving the house I was born and raised in was difficult and brought many tears.

I got back into the insulation this weekend and wrapped it up! Now I can move on to the calling, floors and walls. Unfortunately there is still some water coming in under the front window, so I’m going to do my best to seal up what the shed builder could not! If I’m not successful, I may have to put the porch and roof on the front this year instead of next year. More money flowing out!
