The breaking sun brings cement

The sun finally came out this morning acting like a beacon of light that led the cement to my backyard. It was a long 10 days between the forms being placed and having them filled with cement. I was getting anxious and was doing all I could to keep the rain water out of the trenches. The breaking sun meant they could pour the pad today! It was thoroughly enjoyable sitting on the deck and working as I watched them do their work. Looks to me like a success. Bella and I placed our paw/handprints in the soft cement as a way to celebrate the occasion.
