Making things right and inspection approval

Well, the cement company came out Monday morning and spent a few hours digging more to correct the rat wall depth and extension to the exterior plane of the slab width. As a result, the inspection went well and we passed. If the rains would just hold off, the slab can actually be poured. Hopefully that will happen by the end of the week!

I drove out to St. Claire Shores yesterday and picked up a fabulous red door for the shed. It’s pre-hung, already the color I want and ready to hang when the shed is built. This purchase saved me money on what the shed company was going to charge for a door and it’s already the right color. Thus, no time spent painting! Things are looking up!
